Hand Splints

Use of the Air Graduate for severe contractures of the fingers has
significant advantages when compared to washcloths or carrots.
Since this splint has the ability to fold flat similar to a washcloth it
can easily get into areas that a carrot cannot.
Because it can inflate to a size similar to a carrot it provides all of
the benefits of the carrot. You control the size of the splint which
allows you to determine the optimal size and patient tolerance
increasing compliance.

Severe To Moderate Contracture of the Fingers:

For patients whose fingers form the letter "O"

Two incrementally larger palmar rolls included to gradually
increase extension of the MCP and PIP joints
Finger Separators and Ulnar Drift Strap available separately to
allow custom fitting

Treats moderate contractures of the wrist/hand/fingers.
Extra long wrist strap holds the wrist in the proper position and
Thumb is “Bend to Fit” to support, position, and/or correct
alignment of the thumb.

Moderate to Mild Contracture of the Fingers

Effectively positions the wrist in neutral, especially when the
wrist tends to pronate
Provides three point leverage to increase dorsal extension of
the wrist

Treats moderate to severe contractures of the wrist / hand /
fingers
Palmar bar comfortably fits into the palm of a fisted hand
